The underground vaults found on Green Hill, dating back to the 17th century, were renovated in 2023. The restoration project maintained the vaults old world appeal while adding modern luxuries, resulting in two contemporary living spaces named Royalist and Parliamentary, paying homage to the areas historical past.
Each apartment features a stylish sleeping area, a modern shower room/wet room, and a fully equipped kitchen complete with an oven, ceramic hob, microwave, air fryer, refrigerator and wine cooler.
Relax in the open plan living area which includes a flat screen TV with Netflix, Sky Sports, Sky Entertainment and Freeview channels. Stay connected with complimentary Wifi throughout your stay.

Our Royalist apartment is dedicated to King Charles I and his loyal supporters who bravely fought against the Parliamentary army during the English Civil War from 1642 to 1651.

The luxurious shower room and gorgeous Venetian plaster feature wall in the living space add a touch of sophistication. Our Parliamentary apartment is dedicated to the courageous Parliamentarians who stood up against Charles I and the Royalists during the English Civil War from 1642 to 1651.
